Almost all possibility of being saved by UFOs sold out.

You may have heard the date 21st December 2012 being bandied around over the past year or so.  You may even have heard why…  The end of the world is nigh, so say the Mayans.  A measly few-million other people apparently agree with them; after all, they were incredibly advanced in maths and astrology.

Well, don’t abandon all hope yet.  It looks as though the UFOs might have got wind of the 21st December 2012 smorgasbord of cataclysmic disasters as well (perhaps the Mayans told them) and they (the UFOs) may be making an appearance atop a mountain in the remote village of Bugarach in the south of France.

Bugarach is located in the department of Aude in the region of Languedoc-Roussillon and at the foot of Pic de Bugarach, the highest mountain (4040ft) in the Corbieres mountain range.

Also known as the “Upside Down Mountain”, Pic de Bugarach is said to have mystical, magical properties and has been a gathering place for a variety of people; hippies, tourists, cults—the usual, since the latter part of the twentieth century.  Perhaps the mountain really does have magical properties, or perhaps it just looks rather odd…

Anyway, Bugarach is famous for its UFO activity and it is widely believed that if you are in this location on 21st December 2012, the UFOs will not only also be there, but will invite you aboard their mothership and beam you up to distant climes.

So, is it worth hightailing to the south of France mid December on the off chance the world does end and the UFOs will take you?  If you decide an unequivocal yes, you’d better hurry.  Unfortunately, the possibility of being saved by UFOs on this fateful day is running out.  It appears thousands of people have had the same idea and available accommodation is scarce.

Of course if the world does end we guarantee your money back and a free two-week stay in any of our available villas the following year…

If, however, ancient and current pundits have all got it wrong and everything continues as normal, you will have a week feasting on the best of French food and wine, and arrive back home beautifully refreshed to await the next prophets of doom.
