Narbonne is definitely one of my favourite places to visit, during the summer months.
It is such a lively place to be, with lots of tourists and locals gathering together.
There are so many different things to explore and enjoy, with the whole family. If you fancy a day on the beach, then you’re all set, thanks to 5km of sandy beach.
Water sports such as kayaking, jet skiing, canoeing and wind surfing can be found at the Base de Loisir. You can also spend the day rock climbing or having an archery lesson. There is so much for the whole family to do!
During the day, you can also walk around the 3 available markets, or the 3 ports in Narbonne, before relaxing in the evening with a glass of the local wine, in one of the many great restaurants.
If you’re interested in nature and the outdoors, then you can discover the countryside, which is home to the Canal du Midi, many vineyards, salt lakes and lagoons.
During the summer months, you can also enjoy the many festivals and carnivals that the town has to offer. From dance recitals and balls, to historical shows and festivals, it is all very enjoyable!
