Colombiers
You will find a pretty network of old streets in the village of Colombiers which nestles in a curve in the Canal du Midi. A port was built here, on the Canal du Midi, in 1989 and there are many boat hire companies from which to choose if you fancy a relaxing cruise along the canal. The area is rich in lovely typical southern villages. The old town centres, the markets, cafes and restaurants make these communities lively and welcoming. The beautiful tree-lined Canal du Midi which links the Atlantic with the Mediterranean has miles of flat walks along the shady tow paths.
